Afterwork, nag adto ko ug Gaisano para ana nga cake. It's simple and cheap basta naa lang ma handa for the day payts na. The event was attended by Tita Penny who had seminar at Hotel Conchita. Dili kaayo daghan tao pero Bibo. At least na lang naa. Hahahaha..

CDO FIESTA 2011

It was another morning in August 28, 2011. Dili sya kaayo init ug dili pud kaayo bugnaw. I woke up due to the beeps of the AVP INN's TOYOTA GRANDIA. It was carrying Uncle Ariong, Charles, Sai, Eduard, Sweet, their yaya's and kids. They were closesly followed by Tita Penny, Uncle Boots, Jonas, Shy, Aling, Trixia and Alfred. They all were from Butuan City. They took a sumtous lunch at our house catered by PHILIPPINE SINTER CORPORATION CLUB HOUSE. After lunch they took of to one of the malls here in CDO. Arnold, Joy, Adrian, and Sunthea Followed. They too took lunch and head of to San Agustin Cathedral for Sunday Church. After the PAtes and Besada arrived from the malls, they immediately went back to BXU due to work related tasks. Arnold and the rest of his crew stayed for the night. We have a terrace supper at night drinking a few bottles of SMB light and head on to the sofas and watch FPJ kick ass on the movie screen. It was the epic Batas ng .45 after the movie, we went of dozed and tired.

The next day was a blast. Since everybody is pre occupied with their particular business, non of them heed my plans in going to Initao's Midway resort. So I presented this plan to my mother and eventually, Arnold and the rest of his crew agreed. We head off to Initao at 7am. We reached the site at around 8:30am. We took our breakfast there and we enjoyed watching Adrian and Sunthea took dips of the sea and pool water of the area. Since our visit to the place was time limited, we only stayed there for an hour and a half and then we went back to CDO. After that, I took my mom and dad to the hospital and Kuya Arnold left for San Francisco Agusan Sur!

The next plan will be at DAPITAN. So watch out for the next episodes of our gatherings.

February 27, 2011 at 8:29PM marks the date I became a father. Murag dili ma sabtan ang feeling pero pag makita na nimo imu anak kai malooy jud ka ug ayo. Wala jud siya ka muwang muwang ug wala jud sya malay. Basic needs ra jud iya gikinahanglan nga dapat ma gampanan sa parents. Muhilak kung basa ang lampin o wala sulod ang tiyan o na irita. Mang timing ra ba jud ug kaadlawon! hahahahah! pero sagdi lang, lingaw man sad. Ang after effects lang sa trabaho ug negosyo ma apektahan.

Anyways, ang story behind sa pag sulod ni tantan sa world kai grabe ka complicated and trouble oriented jud. Si Mama Titel kai gi induced atong February 26 para mu baba si Tan tan kai days due na siya. Lampas na 40 weeks ang iya tiyan. Problems did arise because si Tantan wala jud nag naug. Dugay si titel sa labor room pero murag wala man nag labor. 2 CM is all they could come up. They kept inducing her nga ga dako ang dosage kada induce. Wala gihapon epek. Then the following day the water broke pero naa nay trace ug hugaw kai nakalibang na siya. So ang resulta kai iCS sai Titel. The CS took 29 minutes and after that Tan-Tan was Born. Dadto pud na diskubrehan nga na cord coile pa jud siya sa liog. Induced, Coiled and Pooped on Mother's Womb kaayo.

Gi diretso na siya sa Nursery ICU to get antibiotics and to get clean. After ato naa na dayun ang papa anxious mu tan
aw sa iya. It was around 10PM that very same day nga naka tan aw ko sa akong anak! And I realized na tatay na jud ko sa walay pag duhaduha. Sad to say TanTan was set for another five days at the NICU for tests ayha pa siya mka uli sa balay. March 3 na siya naka uli sa balay ug nka meet sa akong sickly nga papa. I hope ma appreciate ug ma enjoy niya kai gaka grabe na iya sakit.

They say "MAN CANNOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE." I say Man cannot be hungry if he eats BREAD. Hahahaha. Maayong adlaw mga higala. Ania na pud ko mu report kaninyo sa mga kabag uhan nga akong na witness karung mga panahuna. Recession period karun. Mau ni nga stage sa tuig nga halos tanan mga palalitun gikan sa consumer goods hangtud sa petrolyo mi taas ang presyo. Reasons behind this rise could be attributed to the WEATHER, POLITICS and BUSINESS STRATEGIES. Pero aside sa mga setbacks, nag open and TITA ANN'S BAKESHOPPE last January 11, 2011 and gi bendisyonan sa pari kaninang buntag sa mga alas otso. Karun jud adlawa sa Feb 8, 2011. Why Feb 8? Feng Shui na! 8 means eternity. So it is a good sign. Even if na timingan mi sa kalisod sa panahon, gi sulod gihapon mi sa negosyo. We are the fifth bakery ani nga street.

In what way can we compete against JULIE'S BAKESHOP, SHANGHAI BAKERY and NEW LEAF? These bakeries are well franchised and are on 24 hours. How can we compete? The formula starts here. Try not to be ambisyoso and stick to your roots as a humble business entity. We have dreams of grandeur pero stick to reality and stick to your capital. Mao rana. Have your bakery's image adapt to that of a middle class or third class Filipipno Citizen. Katung ga sikad ug katung mga welder nga mga tao, mga trabahante. etc. Introduce your price that even them would happily buy and build relations. From there, we compete against the other Bakeries. Mau ra na intawn amung formula bisag dili pa mi familiar sa costing and pila ang per production costs ug katung mga SUNK costs (retaso, salin, bahaw ug polbos). Mau na ang tambag sa Comptroller. Iyang years of experience mau ang guidelines sa tanan. Sa technical aspect ug sa paghawid sa libro, amo na sa akong asawa. Hahahahah!

But aside sa mga kakulangun sa amung kahibalo, naka sugakod gihapon mi kai naa may gamay accounting ug management skill ni inyong igagaw. Hahahahaha. Conquering Dahilayan

It was January 2, 2011 already.

Nakuratan ko ug na bag uhan. Last January 1 evening, we were still drinking at Cafe Macumba and went home medyo sober ug dizzy. Early morning pag mata nako, mga 7am na to, I noticed na si Eduard ug Brian wala na. Whaaaaaaat???? Sakto jud to ilang ingun nga mag sayo daw sila mga 5am mu saka sa Dahilayan kai daghan jud tao. I for once didn't care because I didn't know what to expect and wala pa jud ko kabalo asa na dapita. Sheesh! Second time na daw to nila Brian. And they used to tell us how freaking scary the 840 ride really were. But Brian and Eduard along with Ate Beth, Sweet, Alex, Edison and their helpers returned to our house to have breakfast around 7am if my memory serves me right and they were off 30 minutes after. Natingala mi ni JB nganu man sayo na sila. Mag DOTA pa gali unta mi if not of the insistence of Tita Penny nga mag pack up na mi. My Mother pukols pukols us para mag dali, so we complied. Dugay mi kaligo oi! Abi ninyo... Si Jonas, Sheryll ug akong misis intawn nag watch pa ug Prison Break.. Nanga adik sa episodes. Hahahahaha! Si JB nag DOTA. Ako nag kaun (as usual), Si Tita Penny ug Uncle Boots humana ug ligo pati ako mama. It was around 8am na. Nanga human siguro mi 8:30am and our travel to Dahilayan was commencing. We were using the CR-V para sa mga YOUNG ONES ug sa Navarra dayun tong mga YOUNG ONCE! Hahahahahahaha! Pa gas mi sa SHELL Cugman and then of to DAHILAYAN. We were wondering kung unsa na kaha kipang buhat nila Brian ug Eduard dadto.. Hmmmm?? Tua ra!!! Nag ATV na sila!!!

Si Ate Beth na ug si Sweet noh?? Daan ko pa. While naga ride sila anang ATV, kami ga biyahe pa intawun. By the way, 400 nang ATV kung gusto mo mu try okay, ask them kung unsay feeling kai wala mi nangapil ana kai tua pa mi sa kalibunan sa entrance sa Bukidnon. Siguro naa pa sa ALAE ana. Rough Estimate lang. I called Brian by the way kai apil ko walay alamag kung asa na dapita. I was thinking na tua jud na dapita sa may Manolo Fortich nga Sentro and wala sa Camp Philips nga Area. Luckily nag ingun sya nga straight ra na sa Camp Philips then mangutana ra dayun ko. Dili ba uwaw??? Ako taga dinhi dapita tapus mangutana sa ila?? wahahahah! Sagdi lang medyo baga baga man sad ko ug nawong. Trained to be one bya. Pag abut namo sa Camp Philips proper ning simang na pud ko sa right. Padulong na diay to AGUSAN CANYON. Nangutana na lang ko kai basig ma kasab an ko sa sakyanan nga ga sunod sa akoa.. hahahahahahah.. Ma parehas na sad ni sa laag namo sa una sa FIESTA sa CDO padulong JASAAN. Sa sulod na jud diay sa CAMP PHILIPS. One thing nga akong na observahan uban sa akong mga kauban na sila SHERYLL, JONAS, TRIXIA(bebe gurl nila ALF ug SHE), ALFRED, Ako ug akong Misis. Wala jud kaayo signage nga mag ingun HERE goes to DAHILAYAN ADVENTURE PARK. Ang nka butang ra kai BRGY. DAHILAYAN 10kms AHEAD. Na na litsi na jud. Layo ang 10kms kung lubak lubak ang dalan. Mura lagi ka ug mawala kai Plantation sa Pinya ang imung agian pag abut sa tumoy mahimo nang plantation sa Kamatis. Pirting hadloka. hahahahahah! Once we get to the site and to our amazement, Kaingun jud mi nga kami ray tao kai wala kaayo ga padulong nga mga sakyanan. Pastilan!! Ang mga sakyanan naka park na diay sa DAHILAYAN mismo. Tua ra! Sakato jud sila BRIAN nga nag sayo kai nka apas sila sa mga rides na ilang gusto. Unsaun man gud nga PERSTAYMERS man gud mi. Diretso na lang mi sa 840meters nga ride nila JONAS ug JB kai wala na jud oras. Sila MAMA ug TITA PENNY busy ug tan aw sa view ug picture picture.

Oh diba??? Smile intawn ma.. Aw, mahadlok mkita ang ngipon.. Hahahahahahaha. Kani sila nga sisters grabe ni sila ka close kai mau ra man ang duol. Kai kung tua pud ni sila mama ug tita sa BOHOL, aw apil pud sila ug ka BIBO dato.. Hahahahahahahahahaha! Lingaw sab ning atong PAMEYLEE dah! Hahahahahaha.Balik sa ta sa Reality. Pag abot namo sa DAHILAYAN. Check check pa mi sa view nga murag korek. PERSTAYM gud. Gi familiarize namo among kaugalingun kung asa ang CR, CASHIER, KAN ANAN ug ang ZIPLINE. Gipangita pud namo sila BRIAN ug EDUARD, then nakita namo sila nagsakay sa 320m rides. Nag pares pares sila. Si Ate Beth ug Brian and Si Eduard pud ug si Sweet. Sweet sila. Aw.. muapil mi!! Nyahahahahahah! Linya dayun mi ni JONAS para mka una and paghuman namo ug PAY, gitagaan mi ug stub nga ibracelet nimo nga mura na kag eskapo sa ospital.. Na receive namo among priority number and it was number 51!!!! PAgka nalang. 17 to 19 pa ang gi tawag unya 11am na sa buntag. Action mi ug kabalaka. By the time na sila na BRIAN ang turno mu Zip sa 840m. May nalang naka singit mi. Imagine nag sayo sila and number 19 ang number nila?? Grabe jud ka daghan tao. Mag sayu jud dapat para makauli ug udto if naa pa plano manguli sa udto. Luckily nagka dungan mi. I don't know gi unsa to pero nag dungan jud mi pamilya ug saka sa Zipline sa Dahilayan. It was a bit showery. Murag mist type nga ulan. Noontime pa jud to. Ting paniudto na. May nalang. Brian challenged me to go first and I did because I wanted the thrill and the experience. Animas, 4,700 feet above sea level bya pud to. Kung mahagbung ka, sure jud nga ma deads jud ka. No parachute and all for safety just your helmet. Dili pud ka masalbar sa imu helmet kung mahulog ka. hahahahaha! Medyo kulba xa pero the moment nga gi buhian ming duha ni BRIAN nawala akong ka kulba. Ning samot ug kawala katung gi biyaan ko ni BRIAN sa tunga tunga. So gi clip nako ako mga kamot para mu kusog pa ko ug samot. In the end balo sila tanan nga pang disgrasya to akong dagan! Hahahahaha! We were followed by Eduard, Sweet, Alfred and Jonas, Ate Beth and her crew. It was exhilarating and exciting at the same time kaso lang dali ra mahuman imu 500 worth of cash. I timed it about 30 seconds ra ang 840meters nga ride. Ma feel nimo ang rush if you were heavier. Ang allowed weight ra dadto is 80 to 240 lbs. So, kung gamay ra imu timbang o sobra sa naa dha, dili ka ka sakay. Dili pud pede katung naay High Blood Pressure kai basin bangkay na inig abot sa tumoy.. Hahahahahaha! Mura mig kusenero ug kusenera noh??? Hahahahahaha. We took some pictures too after the ride. We decided to go to lunch kaso lang wala na mi ga dungan. Tita Penny and her family wanted to go home earlier because naa pay komprahunon si Sheryll for FSUU Canteen. So nag bulag bulag na mi sama sa tae sa kanding. That concludes my story for the laag. Basta ako naka abot ko CDO mga 3PM and Bed na ko deritso kai perting kapoya. Nakatulog na gali ko ug drive sa dalan. Whew! Saksi si Jonas ato nga paruk paruk na ko. New Year's Eve at Macumba

Happy New Year to all our families. This is the first time the following names are getting together maybe ever! Brian, Eduard, Jonas, Alfred and I were spending a night at the above cafe. The Besadas arrived an hour earlier than Brian and company during the afternoon. It was an unplanned event but it was like a fiesta since there were more people than we have ever anticipated. Luckily, akong mama naka handa na ug food beforehand. It is a habit of her to prepare more than enough foods upon approaching the new year because it would mean abundant food for family the whole year. So maayo na lang naay daghan at least bibo pangaun tanan. Tita Penny was accompanied by Uncle Boots, Jonas, Sheryll and Trixia. They eventually head out to one of the malls in Cagayan de Oro City hoping to get something new from any open stores and outlets. New year bya so dili ka mka expect ug daghan mag abri. Brian accompanied by Ate Libeth, Alexandra, Eduard, Sweet, Edison and some helpers visited our house. They too have plans of storming the malls but they have other things in mind like wathcing any 3D movies. Dili lang mga tagalog. Ambot unsay nahitabo sa ilaha afterwards. All I knew when they returned to our house, si Eduard ug Brian na lang ang naa. Hahaha! They caught Alfred and I playing DOTA while my wife, Sheryll and Jonas was watching PRISON BREAK and got addicted! haha! Eduar and Brian wanted to go out so Alfred, Jonas and I decided to go with them. We were riding their huge BENZ VAN and we were strolling the city looking for open bars and a good crowd. We checked out the STARBUCKS and ROSARIO ARCADE area, then we went to DV SORIA and checked out MAXIs and DE KALSADA. The latter were closed. Maxis had worthless crowd so nanibat mi. We checked WHATEVER KTV and LOKAL, still no crowd. We went back to ROSARIO ARCADE Ketkai and eventually settled down at CAFE MACUMBA. Chika chika ra gud ang tripping and not to mention ang grabe ka mahal nga bucket sa red horse beer! 300 and bucket leche! 6 ra sulod sa isa, grabe nga pangwarta but anyways they will say we were paying for the ambience. Sagdi na lang! Dili na lang ko magsaba kung kinsay gi istoryahan ug unsa nga topic ang gi istoryahan para bibo!! Hahahahahaha. After 3 Buckets, nanguli na mi kai sayo pa ang byahe padulong Dahilayan the next day. We ended the get together at around 1AM. Uli na sad sa balay namo. Kaun ug Burger Steak ug Lasagna then off to bed!
