Switchfoot is an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band's members are Jon Foreman (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass guitar, backing vocals), Chad Butler (drums, percussion), Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Drew Shirley (guitar, backing vocals).

After early successes in the Christian rock scene, Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie A Walk to Remember. This recognition led to their major label debut, The Beautiful Letdown, which was released in 2003. It went on to sell over 2.6 million copies and produced the band's best-known singles, "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move". They have since been noted for their energetic live shows,^[6]^[7]^[8] and their seventh studio album Hello Hurricane received a Grammy award in 2011 for Best Rock Gospel Album.

According to Jon Foreman, the name "Switchfoot" is a surfing term. "We all love to surf and have been surfing all our lives so to us, the name made sense. To switch your feet means to take a new stance facing the opposite direction. It's about change and movement, a different way of approaching life and music."^[9]

This is Motley Crue now. One of the most famous hairmetal acts of the 80's and 90's. Good news naa pa japun sila karun. Kung kolongo sila sa una. Samut na run. Hahahahaha. They have the original line up since 1981 and it didn't change. Well, good for them.

Ilang latest album is called SAINTS OF LOS ANGELES and ang ayus nga track sa sulod sa album mau ghapun, SAINTS OF LOS ANGELES. Durable jud ni nga band ever since and they still stick to their roots and still command live presence. Unlike BON JOVI who mellowed out to POP audience. MOTLEY CRUE kai bad ass gihapun until now. LONG LIVE!!!

Mötley Crüe's ninth studio album, titled Saints of Los Angeles, was released in Japan on June 17, 2008 and in America on June 24, 2008. The album was originally titled The Dirt, as it was loosely based on the band's autobiography of the same name, but the title was later changed. Saints of Los Angeles features the band's original lineup. In the US, the album was released by Eleven Seven Music. Eleven Seven also took over US distribution of their back catalog.

iTunes picked "Saints of Los Angeles" in their "Best of 2008" in the Rock category as the number one song; the song was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Hard Rock Performance" category. The song was released in the music game series Rock Band as downloadable content the day the single was released. Additionally, the entire Dr. Feelgood album was released as downloadable content in Rock Band as well, excluding "T.n.T. (Terror 'n Tinseltown)".

The band played the Download Festival in Donington Park (June 12–14, 2009), playing on the second stage on Friday night.

The band made a guest appearance in the season finale of "Bones" on May 14, 2009 entitled "The End In The Beginning", performing the classic song "Dr. Feelgood".

Mötley Crüe headlined the Crüe Fest 2 festival, which ran from July to September 2009. Supporting them were Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool, and Charm City Devils. In addition to performing a set featuring material from Saints of Los Angeles, the band also celebrated the 20th anniversary of Dr. Feelgood by performing the album in its entirety on each night of the tour and re-releasing the album as a special 20th anniversary deluxe addition.^[18]. Godsmack's latest album The Oracle included a song called Cryin' Like a Bitch. Their frontman Sully Erna stated that the sog is about Nikki Sixx.

In 2010, Tommy Lee announced that there would not be a Crüe Fest 3 in the summer of 2010, but instead the band would work on new material and is expected to tour Crüe Fest 3 in the summer of 2011^{[citation needed]}. It was also announced that Mötley Crüe would be headlining Ozzfest in 2010, along with Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Halford.

Kaila mo sa Guns N' Fckn Roses? Aw kung kaila mo, kaila pud mo sa VELVET REVOLVER. This is ROCK's new super group. Not actually new since they debut in 2004 with the bands multi platinum album CONTRABAND (album cover ang picture). Second Album is LIBERTAD being released during 2007. Ang mga myembro ani kai sila Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, and Dave Kushner, formerly of punk band Wasted Youth. Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland was Velvet Revolver's lead singer from their formation until 2008. So wala na si SCOTT karun sa ilaha. Apply mo? Ako gusto ko mu apply pero dili nako kaya ang lawas ni SCOTT nga murag model. Bukog Panit!! Mau daw na requirements ahahahaha!

Gi dako man siguro ang ulo ni WEILAND or dili jud niya ma buhian ang STONE TEMPLE PILOTS nga banda. As of now walay vocalist ang VELVET REVOLVER but they did not broke up. Ako pa sa ilaha, mag reunion sila ni AXL ROSE para bibo. Saun man sad ning mga garbo dili man jud ma reconcile. 20 years ago pa to.

One of the tracks sa album nga ayus paminawun kai ang SLITHER. Typical Guns N Roses style jud except for the lyrics. If you are a real rocker, this album is for you. This is the original Rock from the 90's nga naa karun fresh in the music stands.

I rate this album 10/10. Perfect jud kai mga idol nako sila DUFF, SLASH, MATT ug ang STP vocalist na si SCOTT! It's a good way of re-living and re-introducing the past rock music into our music now.

Under Southern Lights

Another best album from one of my favorite bands in the Philippines. So, mejo bias akong review sa ilaha. I haven't meet them in person yet but hopefully soon, I will have the chance. I am not a dubista and I do not consider myself one but I do consider myself a true fan for their music. They have a very deep lyrics and a tempo that changes rapidly adding texture to their artistic musical orchestration. Kung ikaw gikan ka nag bulag sa imuhang uyab, nah! Kani ang album para sa imuha. Ayus kaayo ang mga metaphors sa lyrics ni gabby alipe. Fresh pud ang tunes. Naay pagka deftones pero on a popular side. Imagina nga deftones nag pop music. Hahahaha.. Creative sad ang ilang mga guitar riffs. Dili jud common sa mga usual Filipino Rock Bands. Basta ang power jud nila naa sa melody ug lyrics. ganahan pud ko sa kanta na ANTHEM, FIGHT IS OVER ug EVIDENCE. I listened to this album while traveling and I guarantee that your mind will certainly fly or you can remember your greatest love lost. hahahaha. I rate this album as 8/10. Technically a must have album for the die hard Urban Dub Fans.
